My name is Joey. I’m a 20-something undergrad who loves chocolate milk, flannel shirts, and ignoring responsibility.
I believe that artistry is an innate component of the human experience. For some, creative impulses manifest themselves in traditional ways – painting, writing, or composing, to name a few. The rest of us need to find other channels to pour our creative energy through. This could be woodworking. This could be needle-pointing. This could be home-brewing beer. For me, it is digital art.
I’m far from the best but I’m constantly learning. I often find myself staring at my computer screen, face in my hands, wondering why I can’t figure out the missing ingredient of a logo or a poster. That epiphanic moment – the one when the lightbulb pops on and you think “I got it” – is what makes it all worth it.
